  • Spuistraat 294, situated in central Amsterdam, was once part of the Nieuwezijds Achterburgwal, a canal that was filled in 1867, transforming the area into the present-day Spuistraat. The building at this address is a small, historic structure with a stepped gable, built in 1627, a date indicated by four decorative wall anchors on its facade. At the top of the building, a lion holding a coat of arms adds an ornamental detail. The house was originally commissioned by Jan Janszoon Vijfvliegen.
  • Currently, Spuistraat 294 forms part of the famous restaurant d'Vijff Vlieghen (The Five Flies), which has become a popular dining destination for both Dutch locals and international visitors. Known for its historical ambiance, the restaurant combines traditional Dutch cuisine with the rich heritage of the city, making it a favorite spot for many well-known figure.

Please note that while most houses are produced by BOLS, some unique pieces from older collections like Goedewaagen may also be available, offering collectors a rare find.
